Lectio Petri 2024\/2025 cycle was dedicated to the figure of Paul<\/strong> and his lesson, entrusted to the Acts of the Apostles and his writings. A series of appointments along which people debated and reflected around current issues, from conversion to love, from interreligious tension to the faith-religion link.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1ST MEETING<\/strong><\/p>\n Titled \u201cOn the Road to Damascus,\u201d<\/strong> the first meeting had as its central theme that of the conversion of the Apostle Paul. After the introduction, entrusted to the spiritual reflection of Cardinal Gambetti, Cardinal Ravasi and writer Silvia Avallone<\/strong> addressed the theme of conversion through human weaknesses and frailties.<\/p>\n WATCH THE MEETING<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2ND MEETING<\/strong><\/p>\n Guest of the evening – entitled \u201cAt Corinth: Eros and Agape\u201d<\/strong> – journalist and writer Massimo Gramellini<\/strong>, who was given the conclusion after Cardinal Gambetti’s introduction and Cardinal Ravasi’s lectio. He made it by quoting Paul, Plato, Aphrodite and reflecting on our emotions and the meaning of life.<\/p>\n WATCH THE MEETING<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3RD MEETING<\/strong><\/p>\n A completely unprecedented lectio was the one entitled \u201cI Oppose Peter with an Open Face\u201d<\/strong> and focused on the theme of interreligious tension. Here, the words of Cardinal Gambetti and Cardinal Ravasi were accompanied by commentary and notes played by conductor Speranza Scapucci<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
