Una lettura antropologica dell’esperienza di infermità e di cura illuminate dal mistero cristiano. Sabato 18 giugno, presso l’Aula Nuova del Sinodo in Vaticano, si è tenuto il simposio “Chinarsi sulla vita”, primo dei tre incontri di avvicinamento al Giubileo del 2025.
L’incontro, moderato da padre Francesco Occhetta, segretario generale della Fondazione Fratelli tutti, si è articolato in una sessione plenaria di ascolto, una sessione di gruppo per condividere le esperienze dei partecipanti e in un itinerario spirituale nella Basilica di San Pietro durante l’ora del tramonto.
I partecipanti hanno avuto modo di condividere le esperienze di sofferenza e di infermità, solitudine e di cura in diversi ambiti e di condividere le loro storie di impegno verso le persone più fragili in strutture, associazioni o movimenti.
Questa prima tappa di avvicinamento all’esperienza giubilare precede altri due appuntamenti molto importanti.
Il secondo incontro, dal titolo “Ai margini della società”, si svolgerà il 17 settembre 2022 e consisterà in una lettura, tra retorica e realismo, verso processi fondati su un’etica basata sul riconoscimento dei diritti umani universali e del messaggio del Vangelo.
Il terzo appuntamento, che si terrà il 3 dicembre 2022, si intitola “Riconoscersi sulla soglia dell’educativo”. Tra le tematiche ci sono la vulnerabilità dell’umano, la solidarietà universale e la responsabilità planetaria.
Gli incontri giubilari della Basilica di San Pietro accompagneranno le proposte del comitato del Giubileo per permettere un’esperienza umana e spirituale a tutte le persone di buona volontà che si riconoscono negli insegnamenti dell’Enciclica Fratelli tutti.
