The Encounter 2024 “Tearing Open the Sleeping Soul” was held in New York on February 18 and was attended by H.E. Cardinal Mauro Gambetti and Father Francesco Occhetta S.J., President and Secretary General of the Fratelli tutti Foundation, respectively. It was an opportunity to present the Foundation, the Declaration of Human Fraternity signed on June 10, 2023 in St. Peter’s Square and to announce the second edition of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity. Many personalities attended, including Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman.
