Words are never neutral. They can hurt or heal, divide or unite, extinguish or ignite hope.
With the project “Words for Humanity. Schools rewrite fraternity.,” we want to transform language from a simple means of communication into a bridge to others. It is not just a matter of reading, but of inhabiting words, bringing them into the daily reality of our children.
Each class is called to become a “laboratory of humanity”: we take the 365 words from our Vocabulary and let the students regenerate them, reinterpreting them in the light of their dreams, their wounds, and their experiences.
It is an act of generational responsibility: from the words we have received, to the words we have lived, to those we imagine for the future. Together, we can tend the garden of fraternity.
