Born in Rome on 22 July 1960.
Graduated in Economics, in 1983 he joined the Eni group.
From 1983 to 1994 Claudio Granata served as an expert on labour market and social security at ASAP (Trade union association for Eni companies).
From 1994 to 1999 he continued his experience at Eni Corporate as an industrial relations expert.
In the year 2000, he was appointed Head of Personnel and Organisation of Eni Servizi Amministrativi, a company set up to centralise Eni’s administrative activities.
In 2001, he was put in charge of Eni’s territorial poles, structuring personnel management by geographic areas, and in 2003 he took on the role of HR of Business in Corporate, providing Departments with support for the management and development of Eni Corporate’s managerial resources, in a period of great change (2002-2004), which saw mergers by incorporation of Snam and AgipPetroli with the redefinition of the organisational structures of the staff areas.
In the same year, he was also appointed Director of Personnel and Organisation at SOFID (Eni’s financial services company).
In 2006, he became Director of Human Resources of the E&P Division, where he oversees the processes of Human Resources Planning,Management, Development and Compensation, and Organisation activities. He participates with top management in the reorganisation of the Division’s macro-processes, promoting change management initiatives.
Since 2006, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Eni International Resources Ltd, serving as Chairman from 2012 to 2013.
From 2012 to March 2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Eni Uk ltd.
In 2013 he was appointed Executive Vice President of Sustainable Development, Safety, Environment and Quality in E&P, in charge of overseeing safety, environment and quality processes in order to promote integration with operational processes and contribute to improving time to market and efficiency.
Since July 2014, he has been Eni’s Chief Services & Stakeholder Relations Officer and Board Member of Eni Foundation.
Since November 2014 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eni Corporate University.
Since July 2020 he has been Director Human of Capital & Procurement Coordination at Eni.
Born on 27 October 1965 in Castel San Pietro Terme (Bologna), after graduating in mechanical engineering from the University of Bologna, he officially began his journey in the Order of Friars Minor Conventual in September 1992, taking perpetual vows on 20 September 1998. He was ordained a priest on 8 January 2000.
From 2013 to 2020, he was General Custos of the General Custody of the Sacred Convent of St Francis in Assisi and Episcopal Vicar for the pastoral care of the Papal Basilica of St Francis and the other places of worship held by the Friars Minor Conventual in the same diocese. In 2017, he was elected President of the Intermediterranean Federation of Provincial Ministers of the Friars Minor Conventual.
Elected titular Archbishop of Tisiduo and received episcopal ordination on 22 November 2020, in the Ordinary Public Consistory of 28 November 2020, the Holy Father Francis elevated him to the dignity of cardinal and on 20 February 2021 appointed him his Vicar General for Vatican City, Archpriest of St. Peter’s Papal Basilica and President of the Fabric of St. Peter’s.
Francesco Occhetta, a Jesuit since 1996, teaches at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. After graduating in Law in Milan, he obtained a licence in moral theology in Madrid and a doctorate in moral theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He specialised in human rights at the University of Padua. He completed his training in Santiago, Chile. As a professional journalist since 2010, he created ‘Comunità di Connessioni’, a training programme for young people in social and political commitment, and founded an editorial publication www.comunitadiconnessioni.org
Born in Genoa on 8 June 1946, graduate in Business and Economics, enrolled in the Register of Auditors under no. 489 with Ministerial Decree of 12/4/1995 (G.U.31bis of 21/4/95), married and retired.
During the last years of his professional life, he was Central Director of Administration and Finance of the Espresso/Repubblica group, in which he also held the position of Manager in charge of drafting accounting documents, of Director of subsidiary companies and of Secretary of the Management Board of the parent company. He was Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors and is still a Statutory Auditor of some group companies.
Prior to his positions in the Espresso Group, he was Head of Administration and Control of the Italian Division of the Olivetti company and Deputy General Manager of Isefi-Olivetti Finanziaria.
In his spare time, he has carried out and continues to carry out numerous volunteer activities, in particular within the Agesci (Italian Catholic Guides and Scouts Association), the Justice and Solidarity Foundation, Caritas Italiana, Intercultura, La Civiltà Cattolica Foundation and is still involved in several cooperatives that are part of the Libera Terra Mediterraneo Consortium, linked to the association “Libera-Associazioni, nomi e numeri contro le mafie”.
He is fluent in English and French.
Enrico Cereda is General Manager for IBM Technology Sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa, responsible for all software and hardware business.
Following his previous responsibilities, he was also Chairman of IBM Italy, managing institutional relations with the most important national associations such as Confindustria, Assolombarda and Assonime.
From January 2016 to December 2020, he was President and CEO of IBM Italy, leading all IBM activities throughout one of the most important countries for the company.
Enrico spent two years at IBM Corporation’s headquarters in Armonk-New York as Executive Assistant to the WW General Manager of Software Group and also served as Director for Europe Middleware Software at the European headquarters based in Madrid, Spain.
Renata Codello is an architect, PHD in Italy and the UK, she has been Superintendent of Venice and Rome; Director of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Culture for Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia; she is Secretary General of the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice.
Lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa, Engineering in Rome Tor Vergata, Ca’ Foscari and I.U.A.V. until 2021.
In Venice she restored the works of C. Scarpa, designed the new headquarters of the Accademia di Belle Arti and the extension of the Gallerie dell’Accademia. She collaborated on projects for the Centre for Contemporary Art at the Dogana, Palazzo and Teatrino Grassi of the Pinault Foundation and the Bru Zane, Emilio Vedova, Prada and Vatican Chapels Foundations. She supervised the restoration of the Colosseum; set up the opening of the Quirinale to the public. She is a consultant to the Presidency of the Republic and Senior Advisor to the Bank of Italy. She is the author of numerous publications and essays.
Simona Ercolani is a producer, author and director. In 2010, she founded Stand By Me, an audio-visual production company, of which she is managing director and creative director. Since 2020, Stand by Me has been part of Asacha Media Group, where Ercolani holds the position of Chief Creative Officer Entertainment, Factual & Kids. Over the course of her career, she has created more than 30 original formats and written and produced several children’s fictional series, working with all major networks. Among her most recent successes is “Stories of a Generation with Pope Francis”, a 4-episode Netflix international docu-series inspired by Pope Francis’ book “The Wisdom of Time” by Antonio Spadaro. In 2020, she was bestowed the title of Cavaliere dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana by President Sergio Mattarella.
Stefano Longhini was born in Milan in 1957 and graduated from Bocconi University in 1981. He worked in Andersen Consulting, later to become Accenture, until 2009 in the Health, Finance, Public Administration and Telecommunications markets, expert in Management Control, Marketing and Client Management, operating in Italy, Eastern European countries, Russia and India. Subsequently, he was the Director General of Amnesty International’s Italian Section, Director of the Gregorian Foundation, Senior Advisor of the Human Foundation and of Noveonlus, which provides vocational training for women in Afghanistan. He has collaborated with the company Simmetrico in the conception and management of thematic exhibitions. Married with 4 children, he lives in Rome and has a passion for woodworking.
Stefano Lucchini (Rome, 1962) is married to Silvia and has two children, Giovanni and Lucia.
After graduating in Economics and Business at the Luiss University in Rome, he becomes Director of External Relations and Institutional Relations in various companies including Montedison, Enel, ENI. In 2014 he returns to the Intesa Sanpaolo Group as Chief Institutional Affairs and External Communication Officer and Chairman of Banca IMI Securities Corporation Inc.
He is a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University and a Fellow at Green Templeton College. He is President of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Association Italy. He is a Knight of the Gran Croce della Repubblica Italiana.
Born in Palermo on 4 October 1956, a degree in Law from La Sapienza in Rome, married, Ruffini has been a professional journalist since 1979 and worked for years in the print media: first at Il Mattino in Naples (1979-1986) and then at Il Messaggero in Rome (1986-1996). He was director of Giornale Radio Rai (1996-2002), Gr Parlamento (1998- 2002), Radio 1 (1999-2002), Rai Tre (2002-2011) and La7 (2011-2014).
On 28 April 2014, he was appointed network director of Tv2000 and Radio InBlu, media of the Italian Episcopal Conference. In the course of his career, he has received several journalism awards and taken part in numerous study conferences on the role of Christians in information, communication ethics and new media.
On 5 July 2018, he was appointed by Pope Francis as Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication, which merged the various media outlets of the Holy See (Vatican Radio, Vatican Television Centre, Pontifical Council for Social Communications; Holy See Press Office, Vatican Internet Service, Photographic Service, Osservatore Romano, Vatican Publishing House, Vatican Press) and created the Vatican News portal.
